Hi families! 


We are officially done with NWEA until the spring! I am so proud of the kids and all of their hard work.


Math: On Tuesday, we will take our Unit 4 test. We will begin Unit 5, Multiplicative comparison and Measurement on Wednesday. Additional practice using IXL Textbook will be extremely helpful. 


A couple reminders: 

  • Nightly Reading: Homework in fourth grade is to read 20 minutes nightly. Please encourage your student to read nightly! 
  • Students should bring a healthy snack and a water bottle every day. I try to keep extras in case a student forgets, but we are running low.

Friday: Media Center

  Lansing: Our Lansing trip is on Monday, May 4th.  Here is the information . This is always a favorite memory of fourth grade!  Please note that students need to arrive to school at 7:15, and will need to be picked up around 4:15/4:30 (this time is different than we originally shared). If your student normally rides the bus, please make sure to find other accommodations for this day. The bus will leave for Lansing at 7:30! Chaperones received a note home on Friday with more information. If you are chaperoning, please send in the $8 museum fee with your student before the trip.  Everyone going should bring a disposable water bottle, snacks, and a lunch. Students may also bring money for the gift shop! Track Meet:  The track meet will be on Friday, May 8th. We plan to get to the high school at 9:00. We are looking for a volunteer who has a wagon to hold student's water bottles.
