Lansing: Our Lansing trip is on Monday, May 4th. Here is the information. This is always a favorite memory of fourth grade! Please note that students need to arrive to school at 7:15, and will need to be picked up around 4:15/4:30 (this time is different than we originally shared). If your student normally rides the bus, please make sure to find other accommodations for this day. The bus will leave for Lansing at 7:30! Chaperones received a note home on Friday with more information. If you are chaperoning, please send in the $8 museum fee with your student before the trip. Everyone going should bring a disposable water bottle, snacks, and a lunch. Students may also bring money for the gift shop!

Track Meet: The track meet will be on Friday, May 8th. We plan to get to the high school at 9:00. We are looking for a volunteer who has a wagon to hold student's water bottles. It would be extra wonderful if the volunteer could plan to pull the wagon around to the different activities since I will be keeping records. Please let me know if you have a wagon we can borrow and/or are able to help pull it! 

ABC Countdown: To help motivate kids through the end of the year, we created an ABC Countdown with fun activities/dress up days for the rest of the year. Here is a link to the countdown. For B on Tuesday, kids can bring in a board game from home. For C on Wednesday, kids can bring in a bag of their favorite candy, and we will mix all of them together to make a candy salad! Please no chocolate or hard candies (like jolly ranchers or mints, skittles are ok!), and no peanut butter! Thank you for your help! 

Music Performance: Our music performance will be at St. Joseph High School on this Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30 pm. Please arrive at 6:20 PM and stay with your child until they are called up onto stage. Remind them to bring their recorder to school on Wednesday for the practice performance, as well as to the high school. Math: In math last week, we completed lessons 3-6 of Unit 7, Angles and Angle Measurement. This week, we will complete lessons 7-10. Additional practice using IXL Textbook or Diagnostic will be extremely helpful as we get ready for M Step and NWEA!
